The Piano By Elena.D 100 Word Challenge 3-2-22

I woke up at 7:30 and stepped outside, the gentle morning breeze swiped my face.

I went back inside and ate my breakfast, egg on toast with a cup of orange juice on the side.  Halfway through my breakfast, I hear a knock on the door. Springing up from my seat, I ran to answer.

“Hello ma’am,” Came a shy voice.

“Hello?” I said

“Would you like to buy this old piano? Very nice sounds, only has a couple dents. You can buy it for only 100 dollars.” The girl said.

“Hmm, I’ve always wanted to play piano.”

“Sure, I’ll take it,” I said

“Great! She said,

I got the piano inside. The once white piano keys were now gray with dust. Quickly, I grabbed a rag and wiped them off. I smiled at the now white, gleaming keys.

I took out my sister’s old piano book and started to play a tune called “The Lurking Octopus.”

Very strange song. But I realized how much I loved to play it.

I started taking piano lessons.

10 years later, I still do.

I woke up to the sound of my mom cleaning, I checked my clock and it was 3:30am, and I remembered we were flying to Maui this morning. I opened the door to light penetrating my room.                                                                                                                                                                                        “Good morning honey,” said my mom as she was putting away the vacuum                                           “It’s time to go.”                                                                                                                                                      “Where’s dad?” I asked.

“In the car putting the luggage away.”

I changed into a sweatshirt and jeans. I hopped into the car, slammed the door, and immediately put in my earbuds and watched The Simpsons.

“Can I check your passport please?”  said the cartoon security guard.

“Why you little,” said Homer and he started strangling the guard.

The TSA PreCheck nightmare.

One day myself, Davids Bottom, was ready to go on my job as a miner. This year, I was going to Italy. I had packed my pickaxe and metal chisel for mining, and later I had got my ticket and then went to TSA. “Can I check your passport, he asked. I handed it over, and he said “you may now go to TSA, and I realized and I said to myself oh no because I had a METAL pickaxe and a chisel and later I had an idea I would bribe the TSA officers with gold and diamonds. I Went to TSA and it worked and I, later on, went to find many many MANY diamonds and gold ore are in Italy.

Stowaway!!

I darted behind a big family who both looked like me and was going to Paris, France. I really didn’t care where I went, as long as it is a long way away. However, I hadn’t taken into consideration that I would need a passport.

“May I check your passport?” the security guard asked.

I fumbled through my pockets, but alas, there was nothing. I decided to take a chance, and I ran, past the line and through the metal detectors, who beeped insistently behind me. Once I get to boarding area 247, I slow down to a fast walk to make me less obvious. Suddenly, my hands are jerked backward and handcuffed. For me, it is the end.

100 Word Challenge – 2/22, Josie Caite

It was a frosty winter day in London. Gray rain clouds gathered in compacted groups in the sky. I was on my way to the airport. I enjoy the airport, especially when it’s time to board the plane. The airport was quite close to my house, so I could easily walk there with my luggage. Before I started the walk from my house to the airport, I made sure I had my passport. One step at a time, and I eventually made it to the airport. I was standing on the edge of the curb waiting for my passport to be checked when suddenly an employee asked: “Can I check your passport?”

One day I was walking down the street when I found out that the airport was giving away free tickets, therefore, I drove to the airport. While driving I got a flat tire  Meaning I obviously had to change it. I had studied how to change tires for about a year so it only took a few minutes then I was back on my journey I got to the airport, bought a ticket, and went to security. A guard approached me “can I check your passport?”, he asked… I let him check it and then I jumped on the plane!

His mustache and top hat wobbling, James looked down at his new green watch, sprinting as if running from a bear. The Airport was huge, terminals seemed a mile apart.

“Now boarding to Puerto Rico!” said a woman on the loudspeaker. Sweating and tired, James stopped and patted down his jeans.

“My passport!” He hollered, “Where’s my passport?!” James looked around, eyebrows high and eyes wide. Running to the burger shop, he quickly grabbed a napkin and a packet of ketchup. With the ketchup, he scribbled his name, JAMES SMITH. He grabbed his napkin and ran to the terminal.

“ Can I check your passport?” a woman asked, James’ palms sweat like a river.

The flight attendant told me we were taking off shortly. 10 minutes later we were still on the ground I called the flight attendant and she told me the plane was having technical problems. but my stomach was not right I was thinking  I had eaten something wrong then there was a nose the plane was not making.
