100 word challenge Anna

His mustache and top hat wobbling, James looked down at his new green watch, sprinting as if running from a bear. The Airport was huge, terminals seemed a mile apart.

“Now boarding to Puerto Rico!” said a woman on the loudspeaker. Sweating and tired, James stopped and patted down his jeans.

“My passport!” He hollered, “Where’s my passport?!” James looked around, eyebrows high and eyes wide. Running to the burger shop, he quickly grabbed a napkin and a packet of ketchup. With the ketchup, he scribbled his name, JAMES SMITH. He grabbed his napkin and ran to the terminal.

“ Can I check your passport?” a woman asked, James’ palms sweat like a river.

  1. Hi Anna!
What a creative solution to the problem of missing passport. Your description of James as well as the stress of trying to get to the boarding gate on time was excellent!
    Keep writing!
