This was it, summer camp. So many new people, new smells, new everythings! I pushed and shoved out of the bus. “This is amazing!” I yelled. Everyone stared at me like I was some sort of weirdo. I hopped off the bus’s step straight into a tiny puddle of mustard, I shrugged it off wondering where it had come from. A few hours later we were roasting marshmallows, stuffing them into graham crackers, sniffing in campfire smoke and listening to the guitar. It was extraordinary! What’s next? I will make friends!
