It was a cold winter day in Oregon where a little girl named Charlotte was playing in the snow with her friend Marco. Marco was just visiting and he wasn’t used to the cold. They were peacefully making snowmen and snow angels when Charlotte saw a key with frost all over it. She immediately picked it up and wiped it a little then shouted “Hey Marco! Get over here!” Marco immediately ran over and was amazed at what he saw. He signaled toward the neighborhood where the house was and they both walked back with excitement written all over their faces.
Hello Myah, I really enjoyed your story. You provided some good detail about your characters and setting. The use of the dialogue during the making of the snowmen worked really well and, in particular, alerted me, as the reader, that something interesting was about to happen. I bet you could write another interesting story about what they did with the key. Well done.
