I was chosen for the ultimate Dance Competition, even though I had sprained my ankle half a month ago. I was spinning and spinning and spinning non-stop! My eyes were closed, my smile big, and my feet pointed. The judges were announcing the winner, “and the winner is… Melissa croquette!” I won! “Melissa, you have won a trophy and a scholarship to the best dance school ever!”. I almost cried with happiness. My ankle was hurting but it was worth it.  “You’re lucky you won,” said, Veronica. “I would have won if I… pointed my toes better” she complained. I smiled and said “better luck next time and try stretching your feet.”  I had won.
